Ok... I've just got back from a rave night at work (Its silly O clock in the morning again and I'm very tired!). It was good fun and I got to play with lots of pyrotechnics hehe.
Was slightly shocked about the amount of drugs being passed around backstage but I supose thats because Im so not used to it! Its something I've never tried and never plan on trying. But... from working in the hospital I have puicked up on how to recognise drug use etc. and it shows that this stuff was every where! (and the powder left on the tables back stage just goes to show how openly it was being done!) Nothing exciting happened other than me managing to lose keys under a floor board - I blame Miss S Because I was on the phone to her at the time ;) hehe - Bloody Distractions.... (But a worth while and beautiful distraction at that!) ;) x
Speaking of Miss S..... I've Just read an email from her (even though I spoke to her this evening it was nice to read) However, Im slightly spooked* by a Victor Hugo quote on the bottom of it. All will become clear when I explain what i'm sending her by post because it involves that very quote... hehe [Fate.......?]
Ok.... time for bed now me thinks :)
But first of all i'm going to do some meditation (I'll explain about the meditation thing im doing tomorrow)
Nos Da! (Good Night) or maybe I should say Bore Da (Good Morning) now because its 3:25 am!!!
Much Love,
Me
x
*Spooked may be the wrong word but i dont know how to explain it

"Sometimes it's necessary to go a long distance out of the way in order to come back a short distance correctly. "

Ba do do do.....
Hello!
I tried to buy a contract phone this afternoon but.... I hit a snag. The interenet site wasn't working properly so I had to phone to try to get it sorted. Now.... if the internet site was working I would have had no problems and everything would have gone through fine. But... the phone call resulted in me being passed back and fore between 6 people!!! I finally managed to get my details to them only to be told that I need to FAX proof of my address. NOT HAPPY! WHo used Fax these days anyway!?!
Now... work this one out!
If i bought it on the internet I do not need to prove my address, However because I did it over the phone I do? If anyone can explain a reason for this then please let me know :)
So yea... I had a hissy fit and have decicded not to get my contract phone with them. I'll look elsewhere in the morning because i've been told of a few places that offer free gifts with the contract I want :)
Choir practice this evening was ok (Not many people turned up but that was expected because alot of people are away) Had a nice chat and catch up with some people and a cup of tea after the rehearsal and then had a meeting with 2 wedding couples to discuss wedding music. (Actually 2 very nice couples who were nowhere near as bad as some people whos wedding I have played for - maybe i'll do a blog all about my nightmare weddings one day)
I'm just packing something now ready to send to a certain Miss S because I had a "Saw this and thought of you moment" earlier and then i'm going to bed because its Silly o Clock AGAIN! and I'm working at the hospital in the morning.
Much Love!

Oooo... I forgot to explain the title of this post (Ba do do do...) Apparantly its the "Cheer of the NerdFighters". I've picked it up from Miss S. Who got it from a youtube post and now... I KEEP DOING IT!!!
So......... Ba Do Do Do!!! and Good Night!!! x

A Funeral that made me think........
RAWR! This blog thing is getting a habbit!
OK... I've had a "sorty outy" day today. But... i didnt get everything I wanted to do done so I have to have another sorty outy day tomorrow!!!
I Played the organ at a funeral again this morning (Was sad because I remember playing at a funeral of the same family a few weeks ago). Funerals dont tend to spook me however I remember the one a few weeks ago because I had a bit of a spooky experience! I shall explain.... Usually when the family are walking into the church / chapel I play some random music from my books. So, as I always do I opened my book to a piece I liked and turned around to look to see if everything was ready to start on time. When I turned back, my pages of the book had flipped over onto a different piece of music so I played whatever was on that page and thought nothing of it (Pages turn themselves all the time!) but... at the end of the service, the same thing happened but a different piece of music. Again I thought nothing of it and just played it..... After the service the grand daughter of the lady who had died came to see me and said "Thank you, that was lovely! - How did you know they were my nans favourite pieces of music?" I didnt know what to say! Was it chance? or was her nan there and did she turn my pages? I'd like to think she was there :)
However, todays funeral was pretty un eventful (nothing exciting other than the vicar being late!
Sorty outy wise I've: Been to the job centre, run some errands and had a sort out of my bed room.
So thats about it for now.... thats my day (Maybe I'll write another blog about my evening later)

My Day
Well Hello!
Not much to write about today now I think about it really! I've had a pretty quiet day :)
Got up early to take my mum to work (That way I get the car all day!) and then came back home before getting ready to play the organ at a funeral. I managed to burn 4 pieces of toast whilst getting ready due to a distraction by a certain girl (We'll call her Miss S). SO........ my breakfast consisted of ONE piece of toast 'cos there was only 1 piece of bread left by the time I finished burning the rest but meh.... was worth the distraction cos shes loooooverly!!! :)
Visited the grandparents this afternoon after playing at the funeral (Although my nan wasn't home 'cos its bingo day!) Whenever I go to my grandparents house they try to feed me so I ended up with chips - which were amazing!!! Had to listen to grandads story of how he managed to break the taps while running the bath and they wouldnt switch off. Now... if this happened to me, I'd pull the plug out! But no that would be too simple for grampa, he had to run down stairs, rip the kitchen apart in order to find the mains water tap and switch it off that way. So they now have new taps (well.... half new because my nan didn't like the turny bits on the new ones so the turny bits from the old taps got put on the new taps... or something like that! its very confusing!!!
So yea... not the most exciting of days but its been good.
Ok... im going to stop typing now because I didnt have much to say but its getting a bit long!!!
Im off to text and annoy Miss S a bit more ;)

And a new blog is born......
ok, where do I start? I've never ever tried blogging before so here goes.....
My life is pretty good at the moment, I have alot on and am extremely busy with everything im doing from playing the organ at several churches, teaching organ, sorting my career (Or trying to!), brass banding etc. - There is far to much to mention in one blog so I will probably throw bits of what i'm getting upto into future blogs
I want to write about the last few weeks of my life but that would take for ever and ever so im going to start with some bullet points from the last week or so that i think are significant and will probably write some more bullet points from the past week in my next blog
so.... two significant things that have happened over the last week:

so.... two significant things that have happened over the last week:
- I've just finished my first year at university (Health Science Foundation Year). I've decided I want to take a year or two out of education just to sort myself out and make sure the degree I chose is the one I really want to do! (Im hoping on doing a degree in Nursing).
- Over the last week I've started talking to an amazing girl (you know who you are) but unfortunately she lives far too far away! but none the less, shes lovely and has the most pretty eyes and cutest smile I have ever seen! I think i've used more texts and time on the phone to her in the last week than I usually use on anyone in a month!!! And i think im extremely lucky to have met her :)
Today has been pretty uneventful, i've done some career thinking but have not decided for certain what i'm going to do yet. I have a few ideas which I will share tomorrow - but nothing is set in stone (But i supose even things set in stone can change with time and the right conditions!)
ok.... thats enough for now because I dont know what to write about but I will try and write again tomorrow :)
